I recently  commissioned Andrew to produce a large scale spirograph which I wanted to use in making my abstract paintings. The process involved scaling up a small domestically available toy to an industrial sized spirograph, almost a metre across. This involved some complex mathematics since the cogs of the spirograph could not be automatically transposed and had to be re-sized algorhyhmically so as to produce an industrial sized spirograph, almost a metre across.  It was a total pleasure to work on this with Andrew because of the professional attitude he takes, his due diligence and his very careful work practices always going for perfection. He also has a sense of humour that adds another dimension to the mood of work.
